Packaging scale is a widely used packaging equipment, mainly composed of mechanical and microcomputer control systems. It has high weighing accuracy and speed, and is easy to operate and maintain. The widespread application environment is a test of the quality and service life of packaging scales. Especially in harsh working environments, the maintenance of packaging scales is particularly important. Proper maintenance can greatly improve the stability of packaging scales and extend their service life.

The maintenance and upkeep of packaging scales are similar to most mechanical equipment, such as cleaning, tightening, adjusting, moistening, and anti-corrosion. In the daily production process, packaging scale maintenance personnel should follow the maintenance manual and technical specifications of packaging machinery and equipment, carry out maintenance work according to the prescribed cycle time, reduce part wear, and eliminate potential faults in advance.

Maintenance includes: daily maintenance, regular maintenance (divided into first level maintenance, second level maintenance), special maintenance (such as seasonal maintenance, discontinued maintenance).

Daily maintenance content:

Mainly for cleaning equipment and environment, lubricating moving mechanical components, regularly checking and tightening screws, and performing maintenance and upkeep as required during equipment operation and after shutdown.

The first level maintenance work is carried out on the basis of daily maintenance, with more in-depth and meticulous equipment inspection, lubrication, and cleaning.

The second level maintenance work mainly focuses on inspecting and replacing vulnerable parts. Including inspection and replacement of mechanical seals and bearings. And the cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of pneumatic components including solenoid valves, cylinders, sealing rings, and gas pipelines. Inspection and replacement of electronic vulnerable parts.

Seasonal maintenance and cessation of use refers to industries with significant differences between off-season and peak seasons, especially the fertilizer industry with high corrosiveness. When packaging machinery and equipment must be stopped from use for a period of time due to seasonal factors (such as winter vacation), cleaning, covering, protection, corrosion prevention, and regular inspections should be carried out.

To ensure that the packaging scale is often in good operating condition, reduce malfunctions caused by improper maintenance, increase equipment service life, reduce mechanical operation and maintenance costs, and ensure safe production; Mechanical maintenance must adhere to the principle of "equal emphasis on maintenance and prevention", achieving regular and mandatory maintenance, and correctly handling the relationship between use, maintenance, and repair. It is not allowed to "only use without maintenance, only repair without maintenance".
