All three types of bag clamps have the problem of not clamping tightly. The reason for not clamping tightly is generally due to the long-term wear and oxidation of the PVC tape and rubber block of the bag clamping mechanism, and finally even breakage. Generally, they need to be replaced after long-term use.

If the wear is not very serious, it can be handled by adjustment. The adjustment method is as follows:

  • The bag clamping mouth of the pneumatic scale is driven by a cylinder. If it is not clamped tightly, it can be adjusted by adjusting the screw of the Y-shaped fork at the top of the bag clamping cylinder. This adjustment amount is generally only a few millimeters, so it can only work in less serious cases.
  • The front and rear fully surrounded bag clamping type bag clamping mechanism can shorten the green PVC belt in the middle. The specific method is to first remove the clamping screws of the black rubber blocks at both ends, and then adjust the length of the PVC belt (re-punching may be required)

The above mentioned the adjustment of the pneumatic scale bag clamping, and the following focuses on the method of tightening the electric scale bag clamping.

The electric scale bag clamping mechanism has a relatively large adjustability. Even if the bag clamping rubber is worn, it can generally be solved by adjustment. The specific adjustment method is: click on the screen "Contact Us"-"Motor Parameters", then you need to enter the operation password: "0", then press the "ENT" key to confirm and enter the "Motor Parameters" setting screen. Then you can see that there are several bag clamping parameters in the bag clamping category, including "bag clamping speed", "bag clamping stroke A", and "bag clamping stroke B".

"Bag clamping stroke A" refers to the amount of action of the bag clamping action, and "bag clamping stroke B" refers to the amount of action of the bag loosening action. Generally, the two quantities are set equal. That is, the bag clamping stroke and the bag loosening stroke are the same each time, which is easy to understand. As the bag clamping rubber wears, the bag may not be clamped tightly. At this time, we can adjust it by increasing the bag clamping stroke. The specific method is to click the bag clamping stroke A number, for example, it is "3000", we change it to 3010, and similarly increase the bag clamping stroke B by 10. At this time, exit and restart the machine, and try to see if it can be clamped. If it still can't, you need to increase it. Remember not to increase it too much at a time. Because once it is increased too much and exceeds the thrust limit of the stepper motor, a rebound action will occur. Once there is a rebound action, it proves that the bag clamping stroke is too large and needs to be reduced until there is no rebound. And it is necessary to observe for a period of time. If a rebound occurs occasionally after multiple jobs, it proves that the bag clamping stroke is larger than the bag loosening stroke. It is necessary to increase the bag loosening stroke appropriately, or reduce the bag clamping stroke.

Try not to adjust the mechanical connecting rod of the bag clamping mechanism of the electric scale. It is usually adjusted at the factory, and there is no need to adjust the mechanical connecting rod to adjust the tightness.
