What should I do if the displayed weight on the packaging scale is different from the actual weight
How to solve the problem of the difference between the displayed weight and the actual weight on the packaging scale is actually very representative. The reason for saying this is because this problem is a very common problem, and every manufacturer's packaging scale may have this problem. But this problem can generally be solved.
Firstly, we need to make accurate judgments on this issue and not confuse it with other types of error related faults. This issue refers to the difference between the weight values displayed on the packaging scale and those measured on a standard electronic platform scale. For example, for a packaging of 25KG per bag, the net weight displayed on the packaging scale instrument display screen is 25.00KG, but the net weight measured on the electronic platform scale is 25.50KG. This situation is what we are talking about today.
The reasons for this situation are generally caused by various factors after a long period of work, such as the aging and hardening of the soft connection of the measuring hopper, the aging of the gas pipe and circuit of the measuring part, and the compression of the measuring device due to too much dust collection. In an ideal situation, the signal of the weighing sensor and the weight vary linearly, but when too much external interference is received, the error will naturally be amplified.
The solution to this problem is generally to re calibrate the scale with standard weights, also known as calibration. The closer the standard weights are to the target quantity, the better. However, before weighing on campus, try to complete the following tasks as soon as possible:
- Clean the measuring device and its surroundings.
- If there is a soft connection, please replace or clean it.
- Replace the aging and hardened trachea.
